On the 62nd Independence day of India, I had to get up early from the bed. That was a remarkable day for me for two reasons because one of my best and dearest friend was leaving for United States on August 15 to pursue higher studies. Obviously, the second reason was August 15. Every year , this day meant something to me not only because of patriotic reasons but also for the character of the country to bounce back from every stumbling block over the centuries. I have seen people always complaining about India not acheiving this or that, and start denoting her in a negative tone. Even, I was one of those people. But, looking on the positive side, this country has acheived so much and given this world many a great people like Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, Mother Teresa, A.P.J.Abdul Kalam etc., and many tremendous concepts like zero(seems silly huh!!). Instead of cursing and feeling desperate, I think it is time that we start celebrating India with a positive attitude . Given that, no other country in the world is as complex as India, and has a deep urge to prove itself to itself and the world. Even though the path to development is strewn with hinderances and non-progressive minds, She is trying to prove herself with time. You don't have to give excuse to celebrate India!! Celebrate India for what She is and how She is!! This positive attitude will spread like the terrorising swine flu and infect people to work for improvement and improve India. Jai Hind!!
